Avantium shareholders adopt all resolutions at 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders

AMSTERDAM, 12 May 2026, 18:00 hrs CEST – Avantium N.V., a leading company in renewable and circular polymer materials, announced that all agenda items were approved at today’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). This included the adoption of the Company’s 2025 financial statements. Shareholders unanimously approved the appointment of Rogier van Wijk as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Management Board, with retroactive effect from 1 May 2026. In addition, Nils Björkman was re‑appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board, and PricewaterhouseCoopers was appointed as external auditor for the 2026 financial year. Furthermore, shareholders authorised the Management Board, for a period of 18 months from the date of the AGM, to issue ordinary shares up to the statutory maximum of the authorised share capital, and to limit or exclude pre‑emptive rights in connection therewith.

The AGM took place on Tuesday 12 May 2026 at Venue Collective, Generaal Vetterstraat 55, 1059 BT Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In total 8,423,069 shares, representing 33.42% of the total number of shares outstanding on the record date of the meeting, were represented at the AGM and voted on the resolutions.
