Klaas Jan Schouten was recently awarded the award for best PhD thesis by the Dutch Chemical Society

Our colleague Klaas Jan Schouten was recently awarded the award for best PhD thesis by the Dutch Chemical Society (KNCV). His thesis, entitled “Electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction. A mechanistic study” gives important new insights into the reactions taking place on copper electrodes. Combined with the quality of the writing and an impressive publication list this it was the unanimous opinion of the jury to award this prestigious prize to Dr Schouten.
