Avantium Launches Digital Lesson for Primary Education in Collaboration with C3

AMSTERDAM, 21 January 2025 – Avantium N.V., a leader in renewable and circular polymer materials, today announced the launch of a digital lesson for primary education co-created by partner Centrum JongerenCommunicatie Chemie (C3), a Dutch education non-profit that introduces children and young people to chemistry and life sciences. The lesson, titled ‘From T-shirt to Bottle’, available at https://www.c3.nl/ontdekchemie/lessen/van-t-shirt-tot-fles/,  consists of engaging experiments and helps teachers explain the essence of chemistry in an accessible way. It demonstrates how sustainable chemistry plays a key role in a circular, sustainable future. Jeroen Sijbers, Director of C3, and Avantium Chief Sustainability Officer Heleen Goorissen officially presented the new interactive digital whiteboard lesson at the National Education Exhibition (NOT) in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
